Paul Hester and Lisa Hardaway are currently celebrating twenty years as photographic partners.  Their business Hester + Hardaway specializes in architectural photography, shooting for magazines and architects.  They also  work for museums photographing installations and art.  Their fascination with issues of memory, history and change is evident in exhibits centering on the urban landscape, religious traditions, life and landscape in rural America, and historic buildings.  Their most recent show was based on work done for Historic Texas Courthouses (October 2006), a book written by Michael Andrews.  Their newest book is California Romantica (November 2007),  by Diane Keaton and D. J. Waldie.  An exhibit featuring work from this project will open in March 2008, at the Joan Wich Gallery, Houston, Texas.
